Hi Tracey, Thanks for the compliment! Most, but not all, of the patterns are derived from my original art work that I scan in and digitally manipulate using photoshop.I love doing this as it combines both my works on paper (using water media) and digitizing, which I'm new to. My plan is to introduce a line of organic textiles using my designs real soon........
I have no doubt that you will do very well! Your designs are very original and just beautiful! I stumbled across spoonflower and your work caught my eye right away.
This blog is my online foray into the world of textile and surface design....my passion and escape.Being a self taught artist/designer, this journal was created to display my experiments on my journey into design discovery.
How do you create these??? They are beautiful! Does the art exist and you create a pattern with it or do you create the art itself? Stunning!!
